Come Volunteer With Us!

Foster families and the children they care for are facing unimaginable challenges.  As birth parents struggle with mental illness, drug abuse, incarceration, and more, their children and those dedicated to caring for them are left to untangle the resulting chaos. 

Big House Family Ministry has the privilege of walking alongside families like the one fostering 17-year-old Tara whose birth parents have struggled with all of the above. She’s had to change school’s multiple times, she’s gone hungry, she’s been abandoned, and she’s lived in homeless shelters.

But not anymore.  Tara was placed in the loving care of a local Christian foster family and has begun the long, challenging, and beautiful journey towards healing and wholeness. Big House Family Ministry provided support, meals, encouragement, training, and more for this family answering God’s call to care for the least of these.
